2 months into my new healthy living resolution and I really miss pizza and curry!! February has been a busy time estimating and completing procurement applications for the new financial year.     As part of our diversification strategy in accordance with customer demand we now offer a full range of composite doors that match the existing profiles on offer in the window range. This has allowed us to provide our customers a single source for supply and warranty and has gone further to improve resident satisfaction reducing disruption during installation because only one appointment for installation is required. The product is available in a range of styles and colours and carries certification to PAS 23/24 and Secure by Design.

    The Profix team have been busy working on the design and test of our standard range to try and remove cost from the product so we can pass the savings on to our customers and achieve increased sales. This exercise has been done within our accreditation and has resulted the product being offered at a competitive rate while still carrying all the relevant quality certification. We have put together some examples of this for your information, please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information or price examples.


    Project Focus - Great Northern Road
    New Rd

    Profix have completed supply of PVCu window and cavity closures for Great Northern Road with our project partner William Davies. The project required security windows certified to BS7950 to all accessible areas which where supplied from our standard range. The scheme was delivered on time and was well received in the local community


    Getting to know you - Julie Casson
    Julie

    Julie has been involved with Profix for 5 years and worked within the group previously for a further 4 years. She lives in Birmingham with her partner and 2 children Who are currently attending University and six form college. Julie has worked in several areas of production over the years and has been responsible for final inspection before moving into a more general production role, but her experience in the quality control field filters through into her attitude her job. Julie comments “We have a good quality focus here and by making sure the product is right as it passes through all areas of production it eliminates the pressure on final inspection” In her spare time Julie enjoys gardening and supporting her children in their Studies.

    Profix recently extended their business offer by supplying products direct to the Contractor on a supply only basis. The expansion into this market was born from demand for Profix’s comprehensive product range having already achieved considerable success supplying and installing quality products into the commercial arena. With a continually increasing order book, this strategic move would appear to be working. Profix display a very comprehensive range of quality products including casements, conservatories, patio doors, French doors and tilt and turns. Their range is complemented by a reliable service approach coupled with a refreshing attitude towards customer care. Our customer service philosophy is further extended by their hands on approach to assisting their installers. So much so, that the company have recently introduced tablet pc’s to a number of their installing partners that enables them to quote directly to the consumer from their own in-house computer. All Profix’s pricing matrix has been installed into the software so Contractors can quote accurately, efficiently and quickly. Managing Director , Mick Sadler commented, “We pride ourselves on being a forward thinking operation and the Value Engineering we have done with the product so far is just another step to assist our installing partners. However, what is very important to our customers is the high quality of product and service that they have come to expect from Profix. This reputation has been built from our good relationship with many local authorities and has simply filtered down into the trade market.”
