| Cavity Closure Recycling |
 |
|
Profix have adopted a recyclable bracing system for our
cavity closures. This allows the frame bracing to be used many
times reducing the need to buy additional material. This sits
well with our environmental objectives and also allows us to
credit customers when they are returned thus giving additional
project savings.
|
| Supply Chain Managed |
 |
|
With the pressure associated with a short lead time it is
essential that raw materials arrive in time for manufacture.
Profix has now linked to all its major suppliers over the
internet allowing the company to transmit stock requirements
based on survey activity thus making sure stock is available
to satisfy customers delivery dates and reducing work in
progress.

The GM Fundraising John O’ Groats to Lands End charity
cycle ride finished as it started, in glorious sunshine on
Saturday 18 June at 4pm. After thirteen days, 975 miles and
too many sores to count after a cumulative 65 hours in the
saddle, the Profix & System Zendow sponsored event came to
a natural conclusion when the team ran out of road at Lands
End. An emotional reunion with family and friends was followed
by a celebration dinner in St. Ives where all the riders and
support team received commemorative glass trophies from GM
Fundraising founder, Gary Morton. Support from Profix and
Deceuninck-Status means that every penny of sponsorship will
go to the children at Hope House. The GM Fundraising team are
appealing for final pledges from the glass and glazing
industry in a bid to reach a sponsorship total of £40,000.
