Housing can make a significant contribution to sustainability because it consumes large amounts of resources in its construction, maintenance and use.

Incorporating principles of sustainability into housing development, maintenance and refurbishment will not only make a significant contribution to the achievement of general sustainability objectives, but will also provide important advances in the quality, durability and cost effectiveness of housing.

Sustainability objectives will be achieved only if they are taken into account at all stages from design through to installation and this is something that Profix has embraced within all housing projects.

Raising the awareness of sustainability is important for all those involved in our sector and we in particular are keen to play a leading role.
